Last weekend

Not much to say but here are some adorable pics of the kiddos and some videos of Isabela cooking breakfast with Daddy and from a friend´s birthday party.  Enjoy!

He can literally sleep anywhere.  This is on the couch in the family room.  By far the loudest room in the house!
We had sat him on the couch just for a minute and he fell asleep sitting up!
Isabela with Cambria (birthday girl-middle) and Sophia at The Little Gym.
Isabela and Daddy cook breakfast every Saturday morning while mommy sleeps in!!!!  She likes to wear her apron like a real ¨cooker.¨
It´s kinda blurry but you can still tell how much fun she´s having!

She´s showing Daddy her gymnastic skills!!!

New shades!

We went to the mall the other day and Isabela found some sunglasses that were like mommy´s!  She thought she was pretty grown up.  On the way to the pool the other day, she was torn between her old ones and the new so she wore them both.  What a girl!!!!

Silly days at home

We have had a few, quiet days around here, which is pretty rare but we have been trying to enjoy them as much as possible.  Isabela loves her crafts and wanted to make her and Santi some crowns.  She thought there were so great...he on the other hand wasn´t so crazy about wearing his.  It´s amazing how you can already see how much they love each other and get excited to play with each other.  Isabela loves to tickle him and he eats it up every time.  One of the videos is what amaze people the most of Santiago.  He has the ability to rock himself in his car seat or blue seat.  He´s been doing hit for at least 2 months.  We always have to keep him strapped in because he really gets going and I´m afraid he´s going to catapult himself out of the seat.  The other night he scooted his seat from one end of the kitchen to the other while I was doing dishes.

A big smile for the camera!
What a silly girl!
What beautiful crowns...

Sunday at Planet Pizza

We didn´t have much going on this weekend so we decided to take Isabela (and Santiago) to a pizza place with mini amusement rides and a soft play area.  It had a little roller coaster, pirate ship, ¨tea cups¨, and  mini bumper cars.  Isabela had a blast.  She said that the pirate ship made her tummy feel jumpy.  I thought it would be really busy since it was the weekend but it was pretty empty when we got there.  That was great since not all of us haven´t mastered that patience thing yet :)

Daddy and Isabela on the roller coaster.  It went forwards and backwards.
Isabela needed a little help with the bumper cars.  You would think with all the crashing on the Gator she did, she would have really torn up those bumper cars!
She stayed in those balls FOREVER!!!

Santiago went to the doctor today

Santiago went to the doctor today for his 4 month checkup.  He is doing very well.  He was 28 and 1/4 inches long and 17 lbs and 8.5 oz.  His height is above the 95 percentile.  Maybe he´ll take after his uncle Kyle (whose 6´5¨).  He said we could start 1st foods so that should be an interesting and messy experience.  Isabela woke up this morning with pink eye.  Yes, again...It was super funny how she snapped right back into pink eye mode.  She knew she had to wash her hands before she touched Santiago and she remembered the dreaded drops.  As awful as it sounds, it was perfect timing that she woke up this morning with it so I could make one trip.  I also didn´t feel well this past weekend.  I had a case of food poisoning or the flu but either way it was horrible.  I finally feel better today as Miguel played Mr.Mom all weekend...thanks a million honey I don´t know what I would have done (or do)  without you!!!

New Videos

We had our last day of intensive swim class.  The teacher is amazing.  I don´t know what she does (we don´t get to stay and watch) but now Isabela is a decent swimmer and loves to jump off the diving board.  I´m happy classes are over as sitting outside in 100+ weather is horrible.  Santiago is getting much more tolerant of being on this belly.  He´s finally figured out his arms are quite a bit of help when he uses them.  I joined a indoor volleyball league here in Dallas and we had our first games last night.  The team is made of total strangers but it ended up to be a great mix.  Most importantly I had fun and got to enjoy the game again.  I´ve attached a video of each of the kiddos...Enjoy!

4th of July weekend

We had a great, fun-filled weekend.  We spent the 4th at a friends house for a BBQ/swim party.  Everyone is doing well.  Santiago is driving me crazy with his rolling over.  Every time I put him down he rolls over but can´t figure out how to get back on his back.  Then he starts to get frustrated...repeat this about 100 times a day!

Isabela swimming with her favorite mermaid.
Mommy, Daddy, and Santiago enjoying the festivities.
Isabela and her sparkler.
Isabela ¨driving¨the golf cart.  This is almost always how we bribe her out of the pool!
This is Isabela´s new look.  We couldn´t get her to wear her soccer uniform during soccer season and now she wears it (or most of it) everyday.  Go figure!

A Day full of accomplishments

Today was a great day.  Santiago surprised me this morning by rolling over.  It´s funny, I was just worrying if he was getting enough tummy time because I wasn´t seeing any rolling action.  I missed the first one...I was picking up toys (imagine that)!  But he must be enjoying his new trick because now he´s been trying all day.  Isabela also had a great day.  She just finished her first week of  intensive¨ swim classes. Today she really progressed.  She started blowing out underwater and then coming up for a breath and working on an actual stroke.  We are super excited as this has been a long time coming.  Check out the video below to see Isabela swim. And as well all know, when the kiddos have a good day, mommy has one too!  Have a great weekend!

Hi Everyone

Hi everyone!  This is our first post.  Not exactly sure how it all works but thought we would give it a try.  Just an update for everyone...We are now in Plano, TX.  Isabela just had her 4th birthday, a Princess Tea Party on the 21st.  Santiago is doing well.  He is growing so fast.  At his last checkup he was almost 15 pounds and 27 inches long...that´s off the charts.  I can´t wait to see how he grown at the 4 month checkup.
